New anti-social behaviour programme launched to prevent and resolve cases faster

We’ve launched a new programme to help tackle anti-social behaviour (ASB) and resolve cases faster.

We've launched a new ASB programme
So far, we’ve invested almost £300,000 to create a new specialist ASB Resolution Team, introduced new technology and training methods. This approach is designed to equip colleagues to resolve ASB cases more quickly, while continuing to deliver a sensitive and professional approach for customers.

We’ve also made updates to our customer portal to enable them to report ASB cases easier online. In 2023, our customers reported more than 500 cases of ASB to us. To help shape the new programme we asked customers for feedback on our existing ASB services and listened to their views.

The new approach aims to deliver improvements by improving communication with customers, increasing the visibility of colleagues on estates, enhancing support for ASB victims, and additional monitoring of areas with high levels of ASB.

The changes will also free up Neighbourhood Managers and Leasehold Managers, who were previously involved in responding to a high volume of ASB cases, to focus on other priority areas of work including inspecting estates, handling complaints, and carrying out risk assessments for buildings.

Dawn Wightman, Director of Homes & Communities at A2Dominion said: “We’re committed to tackling ASB as quickly and effectively as we can. We have listened to what our customers have told us about their experiences with our ASB services, and this feedback has been vital in helping us to develop the changes we’re making.

“By investing in a dedicated ASB Resolution Team and new technology, we’re creating more capacity to investigate and respond to customers’ concerns. Not only do we plan to be able to respond more quickly to cases of ASB that are reported to us, we’ll also have a greater focus on taking preventative action where we can.”
