A2Dominion appoints new Director of Governance & Compliance

A2Dominion Group appoints Steve Maiden as its new Director of Governance & Compliance, effective December 2025. Steve will succeed Hilary Milne, who has held the role on an interim basis.

Steve brings a wealth of experience in governance, compliance, and risk management across a range of regulated sectors. He joins A2Dominion from Settle Group, where he was Interim Director of Governance.

Since entering the housing sector in 2021, Steve has led major governance transformation projects, including full governance reviews and the development of new frameworks to support organisational change. His career spans over a decade in senior governance roles within the housing, charity and public sectors, where he has consistently demonstrated a strong ability to embed cultures of compliance and align governance practices with strategic goals and organisational values.

Commenting on his appointment, Steve said: “I’m delighted to be joining A2Dominion at such a pivotal point in its governance journey. I look forward to working with colleagues across the organisation to strengthen governance and compliance frameworks, and to ensure A2Dominion is well-positioned to deliver the best possible outcomes for its residents.”
