Tania and Conan join our property services team
Tania Emery joins us as Director of Building Safety, and Conan McKinley takes on the position of Asset Director.

Both have a wealth of experience in the housing sector and will work with property services colleagues to ensure all homes are safe, high quality and sustainable.

In the role, Tania takes the operational lead for building and fire safety, landlord health and safety, mechanical and electrical service delivery. She will work proactively with colleagues to ensure all buildings are safe and compliant with the latest legislation.

Tania said: “I’m really looking forward to being part of the future of A2Dominion, working with the team to build on what’s already been started, and ensuring our customers have safe and secure homes to live in.”

Tania has more than 25 years’ experience in Health & Safety and re-joins us from Sage Homes where she most recently held the role of Director of Health & Safety.

She began her career in the Middle East as part of the project management team at Palm Jumeirah and at Muscat International Airport. In the UK, she has worked in housing, construction, repairs & maintenance, retail and education. She spent seven years at A2Dominion as Head of Health & Safety and Compliance Assurance.

Conan has more than 25 years of asset management experience in the social housing sector, and will be responsible for strategic asset management, sustainability and property investment for the Group.

Conan said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be joining A2Dominion as Asset Director. I look forward to using my skills and experience to make a positive difference for both the business and our customers.”

Prior to joining, Conan held Director positions at three previous organisations, latterly with Your Housing Group.

We launched our new corporate strategy last summer and have since made several changes to help achieve our new vision – ‘homes people love to live in’.

This included a major shake-up of our executive management team, with the permanent appointments of Tracey Barnes as Chief Finance Officer, Kate Gascoigne as Chief Customer Officer and Michael Reece as Chief Property Officer.

We have also reviewed more than 5,000 historical cases of damp & mould and formed a new partnership with Mears Group as our repairs and maintenance contractor.
