History
The history of the A2Dominion Group is a rich one, with its roots all the way back in 1947. This week marks the 10-year anniversary of the formation of the Group in its present form – with the same social purpose, more strength and stability than ever before and a sustainable plan for creating and maintaining quality, affordable homes for thousands of people long into the future.
When A2 Housing Group and Dominion Housing Group merged in 2008, we managed 30,000 homes. We now manage over 37,000, we are one of the largest housing providers in London and the South, we have won countless awards over the past decade, and have helped to improve the lives of thousands and thousands of people. We could not have achieved all of this without the hard work and dedication of our committed staff and the support of our residents and business partners.
The Group has been built upon solid foundations, laid down by housing associations in its long history (see graphic). These allow A2Dominion to weather storms, plan for change and drive forward our ambitious goals, all at the same time. You can learn more about our history on the A2Dominion history page.
