New Director of Governance & Compliance appointed

We have appointed Anna Keast as our new Director of Governance & Compliance.

Anna succeeds Ian Hill in the role and has vast experience of managing and advising boards, committees, executives and senior leaders in governance and compliance obligations.

She joins us from London and Essex-based housing association Local Space, where she held the position of Head of Governance, Risk & Assurance.

At Local Space Anna played key roles in driving a Governance Improvement Plan, overseeing compliance frameworks with the Regulator of Social Housing and Financial Conduct Authority, she also served as the business lead for GDPR compliance.

Previously, at Shepherds Bush Housing Association, Anna led an in-depth assessment process, successfully embedding a Governance Improvement Plan, ensuring compliance with a voluntary undertaking with the Regulator of Social Housing.

Anna takes on responsibility for reviewing and enhancing the Group’s governance structure and compliance framework, ensuring alignment with legal, regulatory, and good practice requirements.

This appointment comes as we continue to work closely with the Regulator of Social Housing on improvement plans to ensure compliance with governance standards.
