Knowle Park
The Knowle Park site will deliver 67 new homes in its first phase.
The Knowle Park site, located to the south-west of Cranleigh, covers a total of 38 hectares and will deliver 67 new homes in its first phase.

Outline planning permission was granted in 2017 for 265 homes on the site. The first phase comprises 67 homes, made up of three to five bedroom houses and one and two bedroom apartments, in a variety of sizes and tenures including affordable homes across the neighbourhood to support a socially sustainable community.

Of the 265 homes, 35% will be affordable housing with phase 1 to include eight shared ownership homes and six affordable rent homes.

Working with architectural firm JTP, A2Dominion will deliver a unique place that is a part of Cranleigh and its landscape. The buildings have been designed to respond sensitively to their surroundings, reflecting the rich local character with features evident in Cranleigh’s barns, bays and balconies.

The result will be a high quality neighbourhood which creates a new rural community and reinforces the district sense of Cranleigh.

Nancy Waterhouse, A2Dominion’s Head of Land and Planning said: “A2Dominion is pleased to have worked with JTP to receive planning permission on phase 1 of our exciting development at Knowle Park Cranleigh. We look forward to continued success with phases 2 and 3 which will deliver the remainder of the 265 new homes.”

Ian Fenn, Partner at JTP said: “We have welcomed the engagement of local residents and stakeholders in the design process and are naturally delighted to achieve approval for the first phase of this landscape-led new neighbourhood.”

Phases 2 and 3 of the new neighbourhood will be submitted for planning in 2019.
