Visitors can also access employment and skills support delivered by the Shaw Trust, a leading employment charity.
The exciting project forms part of our ongoing work to ensure all our community hubs provide inclusive spaces for digital and employment support.
The new digital hub will help break down the digital barriers some residents face by providing the tools to build their digital skills, access essential online services, search for jobs and receive support from community partners.
We expect the hub to support up to 30 residents each week. The space will be available to local residents and partners on weekends, enabling additional support sessions and workshops to both residents and the wider community.
The project was delivered following positive engagement with residents and community partners, and made possible through funding from us and the Clarion Futures West Ealing Digital Fund.
Dele Ryder, Partnership and Fundraising Manager, said: “We’re delighted to open this new digital hub for residents in West Ealing. Access to technology and online services is essential, and this space will give people the tools and confidence they need to stay connected, develop new skills and pursue employment opportunities.”
The Mahaba Café first opened in Summer 2025. The social enterprise trains people with special educational needs and disabilities to become baristas and work in a coffee shop.
This latest digital hub forms part of our wider community investment offering. Our dedicated team supported more than 9,000 residents and local people across London and the South of England in 2024/25.
