We are stepping up investment in our customers’ homes, with plans to make 100 properties warmer, more energy efficient and affordable to run.

We are stepping up investment in our customers’ homes
As part of this programme, we will receive a £750,000 funding grant which we plan to match, giving a total of £1.5million to deliver energy-efficient upgrades to 100 of our customers’ homes.
The Thriving Communities Consortium, led by Places for People, brings together 12 partners to deliver large-scale upgrades to homes and communities across the country.
A2Dominion and four other partners* joined the Thriving Communities Consortium for the latest round of funding, and the group has secured an additional £5.5 million to deliver further modernisation works. This will enable the consortium to upgrade an additional 650 homes across the country.
Works are set include heat pump, solar panel, and new double-glazing installation to improve the homes’ EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) ratings.
Paul Jenkins, Asset Director, said: “We are pleased to be part of the Thriving Communities Consortium, and this funding will help us deliver further improvements to our customers’ homes.
“By working in partnership, we can invest to make homes warmer, more energy efficient and more affordable to run, helping customers’ save money while also reducing carbon emissions. We look forward to working together with our partners to deliver better outcomes for our customers and communities.”
This forms part of our long-term sustainability plan to improve our homes, support customers and reduce the amount of energy homes use, as the UK moves towards a low-carbon future.
In May 2026 we announced plan to invest £16 million over the coming years to make customers’ homes warmer and cheaper to heat. In 2025 we completed a £2 million programme to improve over 100 homes in Spelthorne and make them more energy efficient.
Over the next five years, we will be upgrading 5,000 homes across London and Southern England to achieve at least a C energy rating in their EPC.
