Cllr Norman said: “I’ve never met a bunch of staff more enthusiastic or passionate about what they do. I’ve met several of the young people who live here and they all seem really happy, so it’s a great place to be.”

Jo Evans, Director of Specialist Housing, said: “We are proud to celebrate the value of care and support services and the difference that having a safe and secure place to call home can make to people’s lives.

“This year is incredibly poignant as our frontline care and support team provided vital services during two years of the pandemic and now in the midst of a cost-of-living crisis, our services are more important than ever.”

Bramlings House is designed to create a safe and nurturing environment and staff aim to support the young people to develop the life skills they need to move on, either to privately rented accommodation or social housing.

The site was awarded the TPAS ‘Excellence in Engagement in Support and Care’ in 2021.
