A2Dominion’s 18-30's Specialist Tenancy Support and Welfare Officer Roxy Mills has been named in Housing Today’s Top 30 Housing Champions.

Roxy Mills
Roxy is part of our dedicated Tenancy Sustainment team, supporting residents to overcome challenges, maintain their tenancies and access secure housing.
Roxy was selected by Housing Today as a winner for demonstrating her experience in housing, what her impact has been, and what she finds rewarding about her role.
For Roxy, the most rewarding part of the role is seeing the positive impact it can have on someone's life.
She said: “One particularly rewarding experience was helping a single parent of three children access unclaimed benefits after being affected by the benefit cap. The additional income significantly improved their financial stability and wellbeing.
“Seeing residents gain confidence, security and hope for the future is what makes this role so rewarding.”
Roxy has brought her extensive experience of working with young people within the housing sector to help shape her vital work at A2Dominion.
She said: “Residents need to feel listened to and understood before they can be open about the challenges they face.
“As a former youth worker, I knew how to engage with young people. In housing, I've learned how to build that same trust with young adults and adults, helping them feel heard, valued and supported.”
Helen Carver, Tenancy Sustainment Manager and Roxy’s manager said: “We’re delighted to see Roxy named as one of Housing Today’s Top 30 Housing Champions. Roxy is passionate about helping others overcome challenges and is always willing to achieve the best possible outcomes for residents."
In 2025/26 our Tenancy Sustainment team helped more than 2,000 of our customers to access financial support, worth over £12 million in total.
This included support to access benefit entitlements, local authority funding, employment opportunities, energy vouchers and essential household items.
Our 18-30's Specialist Tenancy Support and Welfare Officer role is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
